William (Bill) Earnest Cooper of Galt, CA passed away after a valiant fight at Mather VA Hospital in Mather, CA on November 15, 2024.

William Cooper was born in San Jose, CA on April 5, 1947 to Finis J. Cooper and Elva Rose Cooper. He attended Paso Robles High School and graduated in 1966.  He served as a Marine in the Vietnam War. He earned a purple heart for his service. He was proud of his country and a marine til the end. Semper Fi.

Bill Cooper really enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved to go to the casino, a hobby he enjoyed with his wife. He loved and enjoyed his dogs. He loved to take his family on vacations. His love for fishing and camping has been a tradition for generations. As he grew older he just wanted to be with his family and often said it was his greatest accomplishment.

He is survived by Betty Cooper, his loving wife of 50 years. Cherié Beeskau, devoted daughter. Michael Beeskau, son in law. 3 grandkids who adored him, Daryn Beeskau, Kadyn Beeskau, and Graysyn Beeskau. More would call him family through the years and claim him as dad or grandpa. Gary Cooper and Terry Cooper, his 2 brothers. Gloria Remo and Sheila Cooper, his 2 sisters. He was predeceased by his parents Finis Cooper snd Elva Cooper.

Til we see you again in heaven, keep cathing that big fish. His love, memory, and legacy will forever be carried on through the love of his family.  We are so blessed and grateful to have had you touch our lives and those of so many.

A true HERO!
